A victory for Leicester City would ensure a top-half finish and could take the Foxes above Everton into eighth place in the final standings.

Third-placed Chelsea are assured of a top-four finish, while a second successive Premier League win would keep them ahead of London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Team news

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that apart from Foxes duo Matty James (achilles) and Daniel Amartey (ankle), he will have a full strength squad to choose from.

Leicester are looking to complete the league double over Chelsea for the first time since 2000/01, having won the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge 1-0.

Jamie Vardy has scored Leicester’s last three goals against Chelsea in all competitions, including the winner in December’s reverse fixture.

Brendan Rodgers has faced Chelsea more often in the Premier League without winning than he has against any other side in the competition, after four draws and four defeats from eight meetings.

Chelsea have won five of their last six away league matches against Leicester, with the exception being a 2-1 loss in the Foxes’ title-winning campaign of 2015/16.
