Relegated Fulham are looking for a third win in a row, while 18th-placed Cardiff City are targeting a second victory in three matches as they bid to close the three-point gap to Brighton & Hove Albion in the battle for safety.

Team news

Tom Cairney is available to return for Fulham now that his girlfriend has given birth, but Andre Schurrle is a doubt as his wife is expecting a baby of their own.

Alfie Mawson is in contention to make his first appearance of 2019, having recovered from a knee injury.

Marcus Bettinelli, Timothy Fosu-Mensah (both knee) and Lazar Markovic (calf) are long-term absentees.

Cardiff's Joe Ralls will miss the rest of the season with a torn hamstring, joining Callum Paterson, Matthew Connolly (both ankle) and Sol Bamba (knee) on the sidelines.

Harry Arter (calf) is a doubt.

Did you know?

Cardiff have won all three of their Premier League meetings with Fulham.

There have been no home defeats in the last 23 PL meetings between promoted clubs (W15 D8), since Leicester City won 1-0 at Burnley in April 2015. The last seven teams to win away at a fellow promoted side have all avoided relegation.

Fulham have the chance to secure a third successive PL win for the first time since March 2012, when Martin Jol was in charge.

Cardiff can win a second consecutive top-flight away match for the first time since February 1957, having won at Brighton in their last outing on the road.
