Newcastle United have a chance to leapfrog 13th-place Crystal Palace, who are just one spot and one point above them.

Both sides are aiming to bounce back from a defeat in their last outing. 

Team news

Fabian Schar returns from suspension and is available for Newcastle having also recovered from a clash of heads during the international break.

Sean Longstaff (knee) is definitely out and Isaac Hayden, Mohamed Diame and DeAndre Yedlin have minor injuries and will need to be assessed.

Crystal Palace's only injury absentee is centre-back Mamadou Sakho (knee).
