AFC Bournemouth are looking for back-to-back victories after triumphing at Huddersfield Town last time out.

Newcastle United, who lie one place and three points behind their hosts, are aiming for a fourth win in five matches.

Team news

Cherries boss Eddie Howe is unable to call on Adam Smith (hamstring), while Dan Gosling (knee) and Junior Stanislas (hip) remain sidelined.

Ryan Fraser (muscular) is expected to be available.

Defender Jamaal Lascelles (knee) is a doubt for Newcastle, who will also be missing Fabian Schar (suspension).

AFC Bournemouth are seeking their first Premier League home victory over Newcastle, at the third attempt.

With three PL goals against AFC Bournemouth, Salomon Rondon has only scored more against Swansea City, with four. He struck both of Newcastle’s goals in their 2-1 win against the Cherries in this season’s reverse fixture.

All of Ayoze Perez’s six PL goals this season have been at St James’ Park. He is the highest goalscorer in the division this season yet to score away from home.
