Southampton climbed out of the relegation zone with their midweek victory against Fulham, but they visit a Manchester United side looking for a 10th win in their last 12 league outings.

Team news

Man Utd striker Marcus Rashford (ankle) is available to play and could start.

With injuries to Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard (all hamstring) and doubts over Anthony Martial (groin), the United line-up could look similar to the one that played Crystal Palace last time out.

Southampton will be without Danny Ings (hamstring), Mario Lemina (abdominal injury) and long-term absentee Shane Long (ankle).

Forward Michael Obafemi (hamstring) is out for the remainder of the season.
