Life at the moment can be difficult; there is a lot of uncertainty. As a result, it is natural to feel worried, sad, frustrated, angry and perhaps less motivated than usual.

How we think about a situation influences how we feel and how we behave. Here are some simple tips to help you if you are finding things difficult at the moment:

Acknowledge

Acknowledge your thoughts, your feelings, your physical sensations. Are you feeling sad, lonely, frustrated or isolated?

Try not to ignore these emotions. Acknowledging how you are feeling is part of letting go of things you can’t control.

Accept

Accept the situation that you’re in, that we’re all in. Life is difficult for many people at the moment. We can’t change the situation. So try to focus on what is in your control. One thing we can control is our actions.

Take action
