Chelsea are hoping to win their third consecutive match against Leicester City to move up to third place. The Foxes are looking to bounce back from defeat against Crystal Palace by claiming a first Premier League win over Chelsea in six attempts.

Team news

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen (hamstring) is out, while Alvaro Morata (back) is unlikely to play having only just returned to training.

Leicester hope to have striker Jamie Vardy (groin) and Ben Chilwell (knee) available for selection.

Wilfred Ndidi (knee) is a doubt while Daniel Amartey (ankle) and Matty James (Achilles) are still out.

Did you know?

Chelsea have lost only once in their last 12 league meetings with Leicester City (W9 D2). That defeat came at King Power Stadium in December 2015 while they were reigning champions, as the Foxes went on to lift the PL Trophy that campaign.

Eden Hazard has provided an assist in each of his last four league matches. The only Chelsea player to do this in five consecutive PL appearances is Gianfranco Zola in December 2002.

Hazard has scored 99 goals for Chelsea in all competitions and could become only the 10th player to reach 100 competitive goals for the club.

Jamie Vardy has scored 27 goals in 47 PL appearances against last season's top-six teams, including two strikes in seven meetings with Chelsea.
