Man Utd are unbeaten in their last 11 PL home matches against Arsenal, since a 1-0 loss in September 2006.

United, who won both of their PL meetings with Arsenal last season, can now secure a third consecutive victory over them for the first time since November 2012.

This is the first time United have hosted Arsenal in a midweek PL match since 8 May 2002, when the Gunners won 1-0 to clinch the title thanks to a Sylvain Wiltord strike.

Arsenal have lost their last three midweek PL matches played on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and conceded three goals in each defeat against Swansea City, Manchester City and Leicester City last season.
