Josh Knight scored his fifth goal of the season to extend Leicester City's unbeaten run to 16 matches with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Leigh Sports Village.

The match had survived a 5pm pitch inspection because of fog and Callum Gribbin (pictured) wasted no time in cutting through the gloom when he gave United the lead from distance.

Both teams had chances but it was the Foxes who next found the net when Knight converted a George Thomas cross.

The point reduced second-placed Leicester's gap to leaders Liverpool to five points, while United are now two points clear of the relegation zone.
