Matchweek 13 preview: Ten key facts

Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino will make a late decision on whether Mario Lemina (ankle) can be involved. Oriol Romeu is suspended and Matt Targett has been ruled out through injury.

Everton will be without the suspended Oumar Niasse and Tom Davies, while Mason Holgate (groin) is unlikely to be fit in time to play.

But Morgan Schneiderlin and Phil Jagielka are expected to be available after missing Thursday's UEFA Europa League loss to Atalanta.

Did you know?

Southampton have lost only one of their last eight home Premier League meetings with Everton (W4 D3).

Everton have failed to score in eight of their last 12 PL visits to Southampton, including four of the last five.

The Toffees are winless in 14 away PL matches, their second-longest such run in the competition.

Cedric Soares has attempted 11 more crosses from open play this season (59) than any other player in the Premier League.
