Steve Mounie is excited to experience the "crazy energy" of the Premier League as Huddersfield Town's first-ever Premier League match edges closer.

Mounie is in line to start at Crystal Palace on Saturday after impressing in pre-season with four goals. Having adjusted to the club's style of play so quickly he is keen for the Terriers to stick to their own guns in their debut PL campaign.

“It’s always important for strikers to score and it was my fourth in pre-season, so it’s important that I’ve been able to do this in a new team while learning a new style of football," Mounie, who signed from Montpellier in the summer, told htafc.com after the Terriers rounded off pre-season with a 2-2 draw against Torino.

“This season will be crazy and I’m really looking forward to playing the first game against Crystal Palace. I’m excited to feel the energy of the Premier League. We are all excited for it and believe in ourselves and our style.”
