After scoring his second goal in three pre-season matches, striker Tammy Abraham says Swansea City are ready for their opening match of the Premier League season against Southampton.
Abraham scored the Swans’ opening goal in their 2-0 win over Birmingham City on Saturday, and Abraham, who signed on loan from Chelsea this month, feels his new side are finding form in time for their first match of 2017/18 at St Mary's Stadium on 12 August.
"We feel we are on course for Southampton," Abraham told Swanseacity.com. "We know it's getting closer and closer and we have to be ready.
"We have to show everyone what we are made of in the first game."
Another goal for @tammyabraham... ⚽️
