With Liverpool's comeback 4-1 win against Luton Town Jurgen Klopp was able to obtain a sense of completion in his final season at the club.
That's because before the victory at Anfield that put his team four points clear at the top of the table, Luton remained the only Premier League team Klopp had not beaten.
Since he was appointed in 2016 the German had managed to claim a Premier League victory over all of the other 31 teams his Liverpool side had faced. But in the reverse fixture at Kenilworth Road in November the Reds had only managed to draw 1-1.
But despite conceding a half-time lead to Luton at Anfield, Liverpool fought back through goals from Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, and Harvey Elliott taking Klopp's beaten opponents to 32 in the Premier League.
However, thanks to a second-half revival with goals from Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, and Harvey Elliott, their manager has joined a legendary set of managers.
The victory has put him in joint-fifth spot in the rankings for managers to have beaten at least once all the opponents that they have faced in the Premier League.
Klopp moves alongside Gordon Strachan with all 32 opponents beaten. Strachan did so with Southampton and Coventry City.
Klopp will finish the season four opponents behind Brendan Rodgers and six behind Jose Mourinho.
The clear leaders are Arsene Wenger, who beat all 46 of his Premier League opponents, and Sir Alex Ferguson, with 44 opponents all beaten.
