Connor Randall (pictured) scored late in stoppage time to end West Bromwich Albion's hopes of reaching the knockout stages, as Liverpool won 1-0 at Kidderminster.

The Baggies went into the match in Group H knowing that victory over the already qualified Reds would take them through at Huddersfield Town's expense.

But they could not find the net and full-back Randall's shot from 25 yards proved decisive.

The win took Liverpool to 16 points from their six matches, nine ahead of runners-up Huddersfield with West Brom and Ipswich Town finishing on five points apiece.

The Baggies return to Kidderminster on Monday when they entertain Premier League 2 Division 2 leaders Swansea City, while Liverpool face Reading at Wycombe in a Division 1 match on the same night.
