West Ham United were held to a goalless draw by Aston Villa at the Chigwell Construction Stadium on Friday night.
The hosts passed up some presentable chances in the first half when Kyle Knoyle, Vashon Neufville, Reece Oxford, Ashley Fletcher and new signing Nathan Holland all went close.
Villa gave a better account of themselves in the second half and might have taken all three points had Keinan Davis not been denied by goalkeeper Nathan Trott or Callum O’Hare not sent his header wide late on.
FULL-TIME: Frustrating night for the Hammers but it could be a valuable point come the end of the season! ⚒

The draw brings the Hammers level on 25 points with fourth-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers in Premier League 2 Division 2 and keeps sixth-placed Villa five points back.
