In accordance with Premier League Rule W.82.2, the Premier League confirms that Crystal Palace FC has been fined after the Club were found to be in breach of the League Match requirements under Rule L.31 on two separate occasions by an independent Commission.

The decision relates to two instances where the Club, without good reason, caused a delay to the re-start after the half time interval during their Premier League matches against Chelsea FC and Leeds United FC in October 2022.

In respect of the breaches, the Commission decided to impose:
1. a fine of £70,000 for the delay to the re-start of the Chelsea FC match.
2. a fine of £150,000 (£70,000 of which will be suspended until the end of the 2023/24 season) for the delay to the re-start of the Leeds United FC match.

Commissions are independent of the Premier League and member clubs. The members of the Commission were appointed by the independent Chair of the Premier League Judicial Panel, in accordance with Premier League Rules W.19, W.20 and W.26.
