Everton have announced the signing of 19-year-old Ademola Lookman from Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
Lookman, who can play as a winger or striker, has agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal to move to Goodison Park as the Toffees’ first January signing.
He made his senior debut last season and has scored seven goals for Charlton in 2016/17, but now hopes to continue his development under Ronald Koeman.

“Everton has a big history and I was also attracted by the manager," the England Under-20 international told evertonfc.com. "When you look at what he did at Southampton, and what he does with young players in terms of developing them, that was a big attraction.”
Having defeated Southampton 3-0 in their last fixture, Everton are next in Premier League action at home to Manchester City on Sunday 15 January.
