Darren Fletcher and Jonny Evans were the guests of honour recently at the latest Albion Foundation Disability Awards evening at The Hawthorns.

The West Bromwich Albion duo presented a total of 45 awards as the Foundation celebrated the successes and hard work of participants and coaches over the last 12 months.

"I've enjoyed myself so much and I’ve met some incredibly inspirational people," Fletcher said. "It has been a real honour for me to hear their stories and see their smiles.

"The platform The Albion Foundation gives them to achieve all their dreams is fantastic. You can really feel what a community club this is when you attend ceremonies like tonight."

In one of the highlights of the evening, senior disability development officer Paul Hunt claimed the Lifetime Achievement Award after 10 years’ service with the Albion Foundation.
