Jean-Philippe Mateta scored twice in three second-half minutes as Crystal Palace were held by Stoke City in Division 2.
After a goalless opening 45 minutes, Mateta scored two identical headers to put the hosts in control.
Stoke hit back through Ethon Varian and D’Margio Wright-Phillips and the result means Leeds United are all but promoted.
