Arsenal will assess the fitness of Emile Smith Rowe and Thomas Partey after both came off at Southampton, while they will wait on Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng's (personal) availability.

The match may come too soon for defender Kieran Tierney (calf), while Pablo Mari (calf) is absent.

Eric Bailly (knock) could be back in contention for Man Utd, while Anthony Martial (shoulder) is expected to be fit, having trained as normal.

Mikel Arteta is looking to become only the fourth manager to win his first three Premier League matches against Manchester United, after Carlo Ancelotti, Manuel Pellegrini and Garry Monk.

Bukayo Saka has been involved in seven PL goals this season (five goals, two assists), more than any teenager. The last teenager to be involved in more goals in a PL campaign for Arsenal was Cesc Fabregas in 2006/07 (two goals, 11 assists).

If Man Utd win they will be unbeaten in 18 PL away matches, breaking their longest run without defeat on the road in their top-flight history.

Man Utd are aiming to avoid losing three consecutive away top-flight matches against Arsenal for the first time since May 1991.
