Injuries to the Burnley defence boost the appeal of selecting Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-min (£9.4m) as your captain in Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 6.

That is the opinion of former world FPL No 1 Ben Crabtree, who thinks Spurs can score big against a Burnley team without Phil Bardsley (£4.5m) and who have doubts over Matt Lowton, Erik Pieters (both £4.4m) and Ben Mee (£4.9m).

"I'm going to captain Son," says Crabtree in the latest FPL Show. "Burnley have a bit of trouble at right-back with injuries.

"From the Leicester game [earlier this season] Harvey Barnes (£7.0m) scored and got an assist from that left-hand side, and even the left-back scored.

"So even when Burnley were fully fit on that side [of defence] there were still goals there."

Gianni Buttice owns both Son and Harry Kane (£10.8m) but is not giving either Spurs player his GW6 armband exactly because of that, instead favouring Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (£12.3m) at home to Sheffield United.

"I've just brought in Kane and he's on fire, but if you've got Kane and Son in your team and you give a Spurs player the armband, it could be too many eggs in one basket," Buttice warns.

"Salah's home form is brilliant and Sheffield United haven't looked great."

Don't get caught out. The Gameweek 6 deadline is at 18:30 BST on Friday 23 October.
