Here’s a sentence you’ve been waiting to hear: Premier League Mornings are BACK!

After the season was postponed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, play will resume this week with matches taking place behind closed doors.

So fire up the coffee maker, pop some bread in the toaster and crack a couple eggs, because you’ll be enjoying watching your favourite team on NBC bright and early once again.

Here is a reminder of where we left off as we head into the first weekend of action, after Manchester City beat Arsenal 3-0 and Aston Villa drew 0-0 with Sheffield United on Wednesday.

Liverpool lead the league by 22 points. Six teams battling for the top-four spots are within eight points of each other. And four teams are within one point in the fight to stay out of the relegation zone.
