David Moyes is aiming to make a winning start to his second spell as West Ham United manager, with his side lying one point above the relegation zone.

AFC Bournemouth, who sit one point above their hosts and have played an extra match, are looking for an upturn in form after suffering seven defeats in nine matches.

Team news

Aaron Cresswell is available for West Ham after serving a one-match suspension.

Winston Reid is also back in contention after a lengthy injury absence and could make his first appearance since 3 March 2018.

West Ham have lost seven Premier League matches on New Year's Day, second only to the highest total of 10 defeats recorded by Everton.

After failing to score or assist in his opening 12 Premier League appearances, Pablo Fornals has scored once and set up three goals in his last six matches in the competition.

Six of AFC Bournemouth's last seven opening league matches in a calendar year have ended level (L1). The Cherries' last such win was a 2-0 success against Wycombe Wanderers in 2012.

Callum Wilson has scored seven goals in seven Premier League matches against West Ham, while his fellow striker Joshua King has five in his last six against the Hammers. Neither player has scored more PL goals against a single opponent than they have versus West Ham.
