Norwich City have announced the signing of Josip Drmic on a three-year deal.

The 26-year-old Swiss international striker will join Norwich City from Borussia Monchengladbach on 1 July after his present deal expires.

"I can now challenge in the best league in the world," he told the club's official website.

"I cannot wait because I've heard a lot of things from my colleagues in the national team who have played in the Premier League.

"For me it's something new. It's a new opportunity with new challenges and I'm very happy that I'm so close now to playing in the Premier League. I cannot wait to start."

Drmic, Norwich's second senior signing of the summer so far, has spent four seasons with Monchengladbach and has also played for Bayer Leverkusen.

He has scored 10 goals in 32 appearances for Switzerland.

Drmic could make his Norwich debut when they make their Premier League return at Liverpool on Friday, 9 August.
