A first-half goal from Jahmal Hector-Ingram, his first of the season, earned West Ham United a 1-0 win at Middlesbrough to go second in Division 2 of Premier League 2.
The forward, who turns 17 next month, raced through on 25 minutes at the Riverside, lobbed Jo Fryer, the Boro goalkeeper, and headed into the net (see video below).

West Ham went down to 10 men late in the Friday night match when Moses Makasi received a second yellow card but held on for three points that moved them to within a point of Swansea City, the leaders.
