Saturday 8 October marks a year since Jurgen Klopp was appointed the manager of Liverpool and the German commemorated the anniversary of his arrival at Anfield in a special way.
Klopp joined the members of the Holy Trinity Bowling Club in Formby, Liverpool, for a game of crown green bowls.
The 49-year-old revealed that it was on a previous visit to the UK that he developed an interest in bowls.
"I was attracted to this game when I was 16 and I did a school exchange in Luton – two weeks in Luton," he told liverpoolfc.com. "And then I watched it in the Commonwealth Games and I thought, 'What is this?'"
The German paired with club member Lesley in a game against Adrian and Peter but lost, vowing to come back stronger, as this video on liverpoolfc.com explains:
