Aaron Wan-Bissaka has certainly rewarded those who picked him at the start of the season in Fantasy Premier League.
Available for just £4.0m ahead of Gameweek 1, the Crystal Palace defender is now owned by a quarter of the 6.3million FPL managers.
As a result, his price has jumped to £4.5m, with only four defenders having bigger rises.
While the 21-year-old's ascent will have surprised many, the Palace players active in FPL knew just what to expect from their team-mate and got themselves a bargain at the start of the campaign.
Popular pick
Martin Kelly was one to profit, and Wan-Bissaka’s points and value have helped the Palace defender be the highest-placed first-team player in the club’s staff mini-league, alongside Wayne Hennessey.
“Looking at how much Aaron was at the start of the season, I think a lot of people at the club who knew how good he was before his first full breakthrough season would’ve had him in their team,” Kelly says in an interview with Palace’s official website.
FPL is a hot topic of conversation around the Eagles’ training ground.
“The start of the season everyone has their teams out, and we all chat about it on the Friday before the game,” says Kelly, who also revealed which of his team-mates he has named his Fantasy squad after.
