Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to complete a hat-trick of Premier League home wins at their new stadium as they bid to stay in the top four.

Brighton & Hove Albion are seeking to build on Saturday's goalless draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers and increase their three-point gap above Cardiff City in the battle for safety.

Team news

Mauricio Pochettino is hopeful that Hugo Lloris will overcome a small muscle problem and be available, having decided against taking a risk with his goalkeeper at Manchester City on Saturday.

Moussa Sissoko (groin) is set to miss Tuesday's match, while his fellow midfielder Harry Winks (also groin) is a doubt. Harry Kane (ankle) remains sidelined.

Brighton will be without Davy Propper, who sustained a hamstring injury at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, while Anthony Knockaert will complete a three-match suspension.

None of Spurs’ last 67 PL matches have ended 0-0. It is the longest current such run, and Spurs’ longest ever run, in the competition.

Spurs have not lost a PL home match on a Tuesday since August 2007, when they were defeated 3-1 by Everton. They have won seven matches and drawn one since then.

Brighton are looking for their first victory over Spurs in six matches in all competitions, having last beaten them in April 1983, in the league.

The Seagulls are aiming to score for the first time in six PL fixtures. Their goalless run is the longest current sequence in the competition and the joint-longest in total this season, level with Southampton.
