The race for the 2018/19 Premier League title is still too close to call, says Michael Owen.

The former Liverpool striker is unable to tell who has the edge in the race to be champions, as Jurgen Klopp’s team returned to the top of the table above Manchester City after James Milner’s 81st-minute penalty earned a 2-1 win at Fulham.

2 Liverpool LIV 38 +67 97

Owen thinks Man City having five of their eight remaining fixtures away from home gives Pep Guardiola's team a “slight” disadvantage.

“Their points per game [away from home] is slightly down compared to home,” he says.

But overall he is not sure who are best placed to get their hands on the Premier League Trophy.

“I really can’t choose who has an easier run-in and I still think the title will be a flip of a coin,” he says.
