Norwich City dented Reading’s Division 2 title ambitions and boosted their own hopes of promotion with a 2-0 win at Carrow Road.
After Tristan Abrahams' penalty had put Norwich ahead early on, Reading pressed for an equaliser.
But Savvas Mourgos, who joined from Arsenal in the summer, secured the points with a goal 12 minutes from time.
The win puts Norwich sixth, within three points of fifth-placed Fulham, who occupy the final playoff place.
Reading stay third.
