With the next two Premier League match rounds dedicated to No Room For Racism, six-time Premier League Champion Rio Ferdinand explains in a video what it means for players to take the knee, which will resume before kick-off at all 20 fixtures between 8 and 16 October.

Ahead of the start of the season, Premier League captains agreed on selected significant moments to take the knee to demonstrate racism will not be tolerated, including during No Room For Racism match rounds.

This period will also see the League and clubs highlighting their ongoing commitment to tackling discrimination and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in all we do.
