The Scout is selecting five Fantasy Premier League players set to make an impact in Gameweek 33.

Ben Chilwell (LEI) £4.4m

Back-to-back assists have brought the cut-price defender to the attention of FPL managers.

Those returns have followed a run of regular starts for Chilwell.

He has featured in the last five matches, and eight of the previous nine, seeing off the challenge of Christian Fuchs (£4.8m) for the left-back role.

Chilwell produced 11 points in the 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion; more than any other FPL defender in Gameweek 32.

He also finished the match on the left wing, a role he has played on several occasions this season.

Attacking threat

The underlying statistics build the case for Chilwell's attacking potential.

He has created seven chances over his last four matches; only Huddersfield Town's Florent Hadergjonaj (£4.5m) with eight betters that among defenders.

That promise, along with Leicester City's favourable schedule, has convinced over 28,000 managers to move for Chilwell ahead of Gameweek 33.

Claude Puel's side host Newcastle United on Saturday, while they also play twice in Gameweek 34.

They first visit Burnley before hosting Southampton.

Double Gameweek

And Leicester are also poised for a further Double Gameweek later in the season, with a home meeting against Arsenal yet to be rescheduled.

Before that, Gameweek 33 looks promising for Chilwell.

Newcastle United are without a clean sheet in their last four away fixtures, conceding eight goals.

They have also allowed 21 chances down the right side of their defence in those matches; only AFC Bournemouth with 29 have conceded more.

Defensive improvement

Chilwell was part of a defence that earned a first clean sheet in seven attempts last weekend.

But over their last six home matches, Puel's backline have shipped five goals and restricted the opposition to 16 shots on target.

Only Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Saturday's visitors Newcastle, can better that tally.

Further defensive points look likely for the 21-year-old and, packaged with his attacking instincts, Chilwell can be considered a tempting end-of-season prospect.
