The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 23 of Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday's 11:00 GMT deadline.

Luis Diaz (Liverpool) £7.4m

Liverpool’s Colombian will be hoping history repeats itself when he visits Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Diaz scored the Reds’ second goal in their 2-0 FA Cup third-round win at Emirates Stadium early last month, following that up with a goal against Fulham in the EFL Cup semi-final second leg.

The winger has continued to impress in the absence of Mohamed Salah (£13.1m), with a goal and an assist at home to Chelsea in midweek helping him to his season-high haul of 12 points.

Jurgen Klopp’s side also have a home match against Burnley in Gameweek 24, making Diaz - who is owned by only seven per cent - a strong differential route into their free-scoring attack.

Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) £6.1m

The Newcastle United winger is set to embark on a very favourable run of opponents that can help him extend his excellent 2023/24 campaign. According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), eight of the Magpies’ next 10 matches score a mere two.

Gordon approaches this period as the fifth top-scoring midfielder in Fantasy, with his 105 points already surpassing his previous best total of 100 points while at Everton in 2021/22.

His form at St James’ Park, in particular, immediately lifts his appeal against Luton Town this weekend.

At home this season, Gordon is the second top-scoring player in Fantasy, producing six goals, five assists and 76 points across his 11 outings.

Christopher Nkunku (Chelsea) £7.4m

Chelsea’s Frenchman was quick to make an impact on his return to action against Liverpool in midweek.

Nkunku came off the bench after the break to score his side's consolation goal in a 4-1 loss at Anfield.

It was his second goal from four appearances in an injury-hit debut campaign for the Blues.

Notably, Nkunku’s first goal of the season was against this weekend's opponents Wolverhampton Wanderers in Gameweek 18.

Wolves visit Stamford Bridge on the back of one clean sheet in their last nine road trips, giving Nkunku the chance to get more goals on Sunday.

Cristian Romero (Spurs) £4.9m

A visit to Everton can boost the output of Tottenham Hotspur’s centre-back this weekend.

The Toffees have failed to score in each of the previous three Gameweeks, suggesting Romero can help steer Spurs to their sixth clean sheet of 2023/24.

Crucially, his all-round style of play is favoured by the Bonus Points System (BPS), which determines the bonus points in a match. Indeed, Romero has earned bonus on four of the five occasions he has kept a clean sheet.

The Argentinian also boasts a considerable threat at free-kicks and corners, scoring three goals at set-pieces this season.

Everton, meanwhile, have allowed 22 shots in such situations in the last four Gameweeks, more than any other side.

Andreas Pereira (Fulham) £5.3m

Fulham’s Brazilian will be hoping to end a run of six successive blanks when he faces Burnley this weekend.

Despite his recent failures, Pereira has been one of his side’s standout attackers in that period.

His totals of 12 shots and eight key passes both ranked among their top two players.

Pereira's delivery at set-pieces is likely to pose big problems for his hosts at Turf Moor.

The Clarets have struggled to defend free-kicks and corners and have conceded 62 headed attempts, with only two teams allowing more in 2023/24.
