The Scout is tipping five players to produce big points in Gameweek 27 of Fantasy Premier League ahead of the deadline at 18:30 GMT on Friday 25 February.

Wout Weghorst (BUR) £6.5m

A second consecutive Double Gameweek for Burnley has raised interest in the forward.

The Clarets’ striker is the most-bought player ahead of Friday’s deadline, earning more than 175,000 transfers in for his matches against Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

Weghorst was a big success in Double Gameweek 26, producing 14 points thanks to a goal and an assist.

The underlying numbers highlight the Dutchman’s all-round influence on the Burnley attack.

Weghorst’s eight shots and five shots in the box in his last four matches both sit joint-top for Sean Dyche's side, while his five key passes place third.

James Ward-Prowse (SOU) £6.5m

Southampton’s playmaker offers multiple routes to returns at home to Norwich City.

Ward-Prowse has amassed 63 points in his last nine appearances, combining four goals and four assists with 13 bonus points.

The home meeting with the Canaries starts a very favourable run of opponents for Saints.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), five of their six matches in the next five Gameweeks score just two.

Luke Shaw (MUN) £5.0m

The left-back appears to have re-established himself as a regular for Manchester United, starting each of their last four matches.

Shaw has blanked just once in that run, supplying two assists and earning a clean sheet.

He looks set to boast a major attacking threat at home to Watford this weekend.

Shaw’s nine key passes were bettered only by the 16 of Bruno Fernandes (£11.7m) for the Red Devils from Gameweek 24 onwards, also ranking second among defenders during that run.

Dejan Kulusevski (TOT) £6.0m

At a cost of only £6.0m, the Swede offers a cut-price route into Tottenham Hotspur’s attack away to Leeds United.

Kulusevski delivered a goal, an assist and 11 points in Spurs’ 3-2 win over Manchester City last weekend.

He leads Son Heung-min (£10.8m) by six shots to five in their last four matches, while his six shots in the box were double the three of the South Korean.

Kulusevski also supplied five key passes, level with Harry Kane (£12.2m) in that period.

Kevin De Bruyne (MCI) £12.0m

Man City’s Belgian offers a strong armband option away to Everton.

De Bruyne has produced 32 points in his last four appearances, including two sets of double-figure hauls.

The underlying numbers highlight his all-round potential for the visit to Goodison Park.

De Bruyne’s 14 shots and 15 key passes in his last six matches both rank among the top two players for Pep Guardiola’s side.
