The Scout is selecting four overlooked players who could be set for a breakout Gameweek in Fantasy Premier League

Matt Ritchie (NEW) £5.0m

The defender can be found in 0.3 per cent of squads ahead of Newcastle United’s trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers

Ritchie has mainly been ignored due to the Magpies’ poor defensive form.

They are among five sides who have failed to keep a clean sheet in the first six Gameweeks.

However, Steve Bruce’s men will be encouraged by their hosts’ lacklustre attacking displays at Molineux under new head coach Bruno Lage.

Wolves have yet to score at home this term, blanking in each of their three outings.

Ritchie has picked up just seven points in his six matches, claiming a single assist.

But the underlying numbers show he is a major influence on Newcastle’s attack.

As the club’s first-choice set-piece taker, he has created a team-leading 17 chances.

That is one more than their popular forward Allan Saint-Maximin (£6.8m), who is owned by 15.6 per cent.

Away from home, in particular, Ritchie has proven a rich source of creativity.

Indeed, his 10 key passes on the road put him joint-top alongside Marcos Alonso (£5.9m) among all players in Fantasy this season.

When that factor is combined with Wolves’ poor attacking form, Ritchie could be set for a bumper haul on Saturday.
