The Scout is selecting five Fantasy Premier League players set to make an impact in Gameweek 34.

Christian Eriksen (TOT) £9.4m

The playmaker is the latest hot property in the Tottenham Hotspur midfield ahead of two Gameweek 34 fixtures.

Eriksen’s recent form has convinced more than 57,000 managers to sign him up.

Following a 15-point return in Saturday’s win at Stoke City, only team-mate Harry Kane (£12.9m) and Paul Pogba (£7.8m) have attracted more transfer interest.

On the up

Spurs host Manchester City and travel to Brighton & Hove Albion in Gameweek 34.

The underlying statistics over his last six matches suggest that Eriksen is now their go-to option for those matches.

His 14 chances created are the most of any Spurs player.

He has also fired 21 shots, with 10 finding the target, both again more than any other team-mate.

Indeed, Eriksen has improved his goal threat of late.

He has averaged a shot every 25.7 minutes since Gameweek 27. This compares with every 34.6 minutes prior to that.

Among the best

That potential is reflected in the ICT Index.

Eriksen has recorded a score of 70.0 since Gameweek 27, second only to the 93.7 of Mohamed Salah (£10.5m) and the 73.1 of Roberto Firmino (£9.5m).

Those two Liverpool players are the most-owned outfield players in FPL, in 56.6 and 43.9 per cent of squads respectively.

In contrast, Eriksen is currently found in only 16 per cent of squads.

That could make him a key signing for the run-in.

Double Gameweek minutes

Eriksen appears likely to feature in each of Spurs’ remaining six encounters, including both Gameweek 34 fixtures.

Manchester City arrive at Wembley Stadium on Saturday having suffered three successive defeats in all competitions, conceding eight goals.

Their following opponents, Brighton, have conceded 12 goals in four home matches against last season’s top six.

Spurs’ schedule remains favourable with another Double Gameweek to come.

In Gameweek 37, they make a trip to West Bromwich Albion before hosting Newcastle United.

That gives Eriksen the opportunity to outstrip his team-mates and even Salah over the remaining matches.
