The Scout is tipping five players to produce big points in Gameweek 14 of 2022/23 Fantasy Premier League.
The Switzerland international has been a key figure in Newcastle United’s impressive start to the season.
Schar has helped the Magpies claim five clean sheets in their opening 12 matches, joint-top with Manchester City.
He has also scored once and collected a further five bonus points in his 11 appearances.
That places him fourth in the defender standings on 52 points.
The underlying numbers show Schar has boasted a major goal threat this term.
His 15 shots and eight shots in the box both sit among the top three defenders in 2022/23 Fantasy.
And his six shots on target are more than any other player in his position in Fantasy.
Notably, Schar appears to have stepped up his accuracy recently.
Indeed, four of his six shots on target have come in the last four Gameweeks.
Newcastle’s upcoming schedule hands Schar the opportunity to extend his impressive start to the campaign.
According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), each of their next two matches, at home to Aston Villa and away against Southampton, score only two.
Villa visit St James’ Park in poor attacking form on the road, scoring only three away goals in six matches.
Southampton, meanwhile, have managed only four goals in their last seven matches.
Combined with his strong attacking potential, Schar could deliver bumper hauls in Fantasy over the next two Gameweeks.
