Creative talent

The summer signing from Lazio has supplied 13 goalscoring opportunities for team-mates over Gameweeks 5-8.

Only Everton playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m), with 14, bettered that total.

Anderson is also ranked among the top three midfielders for successful crosses, with nine.

That suggests he was unfortunate not to earn any assists.

Growing influence

Compared with his early season displays, Anderson is becoming more influential for Manuel Pellegrini's side.

He created only seven chances and managed only five successful crosses over the first four Gameweeks.

Anderson's share of set-pieces is a big factor.

Set-piece specialist

He has taken 14 of West Ham's last 16 corners, finding a team-mate with five of them.

But Anderson has largely been overlooked by FPL managers. He is owned by only 2.6 per cent of squads, compared with the 17.1 per cent with Hammers' forward Marko Arnautovic (£7.0m).

From Gameweek 11 onwards, however, Anderson's prospects could be raised significantly.

Differential potential

Nine of his subsequent next 11 Premier League matches score only two in the 2018/19 Fixture Difficulty Rankings (FDR).

And should West Ham take advantage, Anderson could emerge as a big midfield differential over the coming months.
