The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 33 ahead of the deadline at 11:00 BST on Saturday 13 April.

I'm currently on Erling Haaland (£14.3m), but he did get the full 90 minutes in the midweek UEFA Champions League game against Real Madrid, so that could see him rested or rotated for the Luton game, which does put me off.

I'm thinking about moving the armband to either Mohamed Salah (£13.4m) or Cole Palmer (£6.1m). Everton continue to give up a lot of chances, so I'd likely go for Palmer, who's got a whopping 48 points over his last three home games.

Holly Shand (@HollyShand)

Since I'm chasing in my FPL mini-leagues, I am going to go against the popular Haaland and back Salah. The Liverpool star feels more certain to start and is leading the way for shots and big chances since the international break.

I'm considering Phil Foden (£8.3m) with the armband, as he has been in excellent form this season and has been outscoring Haaland in FPL. But I'll monitor what Pep Guardiola says in his pre-match press conference regarding Foden's fitness, after the midfielder went off with a dead leg in the Champions League in midweek.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

Haaland is an easy choice for me, knowing he had his rest versus Aston Villa in Gameweek 31. I think we can feel fairly confident about a start against Luton, and he scored five goals against the Hatters in the FA Cup in February.

Haaland feels an obvious one this week as long as he looks good for minutes. If not, Salah and Palmer are good alternatives.

Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)

I have growing concerns over Haaland playing anything more than 60 minutes this weekend. But he does have the best fixture, so the armband is still currently on the Norwegian.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

I'm torn on the captaincy. The midweek Champions League and Europa League fixtures are playing a big part in my decision-making. Haaland has the best fixture on paper, but I'm worried he may have his minutes managed. So I may opt for Salah, who looks a more secure starter and also has an attractive home fixture versus Crystal Palace
