Darwin Nunez (Liverpool) £7.5m

Liverpool’s Uruguayan is likely to be a very popular pick in FPL Challenge for Gameweek 31.

Managers earn DOUBLE points from forwards in this round of matches in FPL Challenge, which means you can effectively collect four captaincy scores if you pick a three-man front line and also give one of them the armband.

A home match against Sheffield United gives Darwin the chance to bounce back from his weekend blank against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Blades arrive at Anfield in dire defensive form, having conceded 17 goals in their last five matches.

Darwin, meanwhile, boasts a very similar threat to Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) in home encounters this season. His 42 shots in the box and 17 big chances at Anfield place just behind the Egyptian’s totals of 44 and 19 respectively.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle) £7.7m

The Newcastle United forward entertains Everton on the back of his season-best score of 15 points.

Isak’s two converted penalties and an assist helped the Magpies claim a 4-3 comeback win over West Ham United last Saturday.

The Swede’s form at St James’ Park has been particularly impressive recently, with six goals, an assist and just a single blank in his last six home appearances.

Indeed, Isak’s total of 46 points in his last six home matches places third among all players in Fantasy.

Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) £4.9m

The Frenchman’s prospects in Fantasy appear to have been transformed by the arrival of Oliver Glasner as head coach of Crystal Palace.

Mateta’s strike against Nottingham Forest last weekend took his tally to three goals and 25 points in his four outings under the Austrian.

The Eagles’ upcoming schedule suggests their forward could be a very handy budget asset for managers over the coming period.

They face AFC Bournemouth in Gameweek 31 and have two home matches in Double Gameweek 34, entertaining both West Ham and Newcastle.

Morgan Gibbs-White (Nott’m Forest) £5.7m

Nott’m Forest’s playmaker has stepped up his consistency ahead of a home encounter with Fulham.

Gibbs-White has delivered back-to-back attacking returns for only the second time this season, producing an assist and seven points against both Luton Town and Crystal Palace over the last two Gameweeks.

The underlying statistics show the midfielder is his side’s standout attacker by some margin. Gibbs-White’s eight shots and 13 key passes over Gameweeks 27-30 are both team-leading totals, with the latter at least eight more than any other Nott’m Forest player.

That suggests he can deliver more points against a Fulham side who conceded three goals at Sheff Utd last time out.

Brennan Johnson (Spurs) £5.8m

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is pushing for a return to their first XI after his game-changing cameo off the bench against Luton.

Johnson supplied his eighth and ninth assists of the season to inspire Spurs’ 2-1 turnaround win on Saturday.

That display took the summer signing’s tally to one goal, four assists and 25 points in Spurs’ last four matches. A single blank in the run further highlights Johnson’s growing influence on the Spurs attack ahead of their visit to West Ham.

The Hammers’ 4-3 loss to Newcastle last time out continued their poor run of defensive form; they have now conceded at least two goals in six of their last eight matches.
