The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts share their plans for Double Gameweek 25 (DGW25) and Blank Gameweek 26 (BGW26), and discuss the factors Fantasy managers should be considering when making their transfers over the coming period.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

My three Manchester City players are locked in now - Kevin De Bruyne (£10.8m), Erling Haaland (£14.2m) and Phil Foden (£7.9m). But I have no Liverpool players, so I will move for Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.5m) and Diogo Jota (£8.1m) or Darwin Nunez (£7.4m) over the coming weeks. Since I also have two Spurs and two Chelsea players in my squad, there's a reasonable chance I play the Free Hit in BGW26.

Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)

I currently own three players from Man City and two from Liverpool. I'm likely to bring in a third Liverpool player in Gameweek 24, as both City and Liverpool plus Luton Town all have great fixtures in Gameweek 24. I would recommend setting up your Double Gameweek 25 team in Gameweek 24, to take advantage of this fixture swing, and maybe going into Blank Gameweek 26 with two free transfers, to help you tackle the reduced schedule.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)

I think prioritising three Man City players over Liverpool is the way to go, given City have a fixture in Blank Gameweek 26, and the EFL Cup final could lead to rotation for Liverpool in Double Gameweek 25. Waiting until Gameweek 25 to invest in Liverpool makes sense, so that we know more about the fitness of  Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) and Alexander-Arnold.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

Liverpool and Man City are clearly the teams to target for DGW25, and both come with the benefit of having a favourable Gameweek 24 fixture, so it makes sense to jump on them early to maximise their upside this weekend. I currently own a trio of Man City attackers, as well as Jota and Nunez. I also plan on buying a Luton defender, who I will start in Gameweek 24 at home to Sheffield United

It's a case of hitting the players with the highest potential, those being Haaland, De Bruyne, Jota, Nunez, Alexander-Arnold and Foden. I will try to own four or five of these players. If my budget or BGW26 means I can't get to all six, I am not that worried.

Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral

I've currently got Alexander-Arnold, Foden and Haaland for DGW25. The plan is to get to six by the time it rolls around. Jota, Nunez and a Man City defender are the most likely incomings - two this week for free, then another in DGW25 itself. I'll be able to field nine players in BGW26. If that drops to seven or eight, I'll just soldier through it, keeping the Free Hit for later.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

I have Haaland and De Bruyne in my team already ahead of DGW25. I will add to those numbers with a couple of assets this week. I am likely to move for Jota and Alfie Doughty (£4.5m) this week, before waiting for as much news as possible on Salah ahead of DGW25 before bringing in any other players. My plan will then be to Free Hit in BGW26, although there is a chance that I could just play with nine or 10 players to allow me to maximise the potential of the Free Hit in a later Double Gameweek.
