The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 8 of 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 BST deadline.

Dejan Kulusevski (Spurs) £7.0m

The winger can offer a value route into Tottenham Hotspur’s attack for their kind run of opponents.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), four of Spurs’ next five matches score only two.

That begins with a visit to Luton Town in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Kulusevski’s underlying numbers mark him out as a major all-round prospect for the upcoming period.

His 16 chances created in the last four Gameweeks is a league-leading total, while he has also produced nine shots in the box, compared with the three of his higher-owned team-mate James Maddison (£7.9m).

Pedro Neto (Wolves) £5.6m

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Portuguese hosts Aston Villa in the most consistent form of his Fantasy career.

Neto has produced attacking returns in each of the last five Gameweeks, earning 35 points thanks to one goal and five assists.

His total of 12 chances created in that spell is at least 10 more than any other Wolves player, while his six shots are joint-top among team-mates.

Villa, meanwhile, have been far less resilient on the road than they have been at home, with nine of their 11 goals conceded this season coming in away matches.

Andreas Pereira (Fulham) £5.5m

A home encounter with Sheffield United looks promising for the Fulham midfielder this weekend.

Pereira’s dominance of dead-ball situations helped him claim 10 assists last season, while he also scored four goals.

The Blades, meanwhile, have badly struggled at defending free-kicks and corners since their promotion.

Indeed, they have conceded league-high totals of 45 shots at set-pieces and 39 headers in 2023/24.

This was in evidence as recently as Gameweek 6, when Kieran Trippier (£6.8m) supplied three assists in an 8-0 win for Newcastle United.

Thiago Silva (Chelsea) £5.0m

The Chelsea centre-back visits Burnley on the back of successive away clean sheets against AFC Bournemouth and Fulham.

Although he has not played a part in any of his side’s goals, Silva’s all-round style of play means he is Chelsea’s top performer in the Bonus Points System (BPS), which determines the bonus points awarded in any match.

This means is he likely to collect bonus whenever Chelsea keep a clean sheet, as was evidenced by his two bonus and eight points against Fulham on Monday evening.

Burnley’s lack of goal threat looks promising for another shutout for Silva this weekend.

The Clarets’ total of four big chances in their last four matches ranks joint-bottom.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton) £5.8m

Everton’s fit-again forward entertains Bournemouth in fine form.

Calvert-Lewin has scored in each of the last two Gameweeks, collecting 11 points in those encounters with Brentford and Luton.

Having returned to the Toffees’ starting XI last weekend after his recovery from injury, the forward can offer big value at home against the Cherries' struggling defence.

Bournemouth rank second-bottom for conceding shots in the box and big chances, with 88 and 24 respectively.
