Brighton & Hove Albion suffered a humbling 6-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday, and it doesn't get any easier in the next two Gameweeks as they face Liverpool and Manchester City in successive matches.

As a result, Pervis Estupinan (£5.3m) and Kaoru Mitoma (£6.6m) are both among the seven most-sold players for Gameweek 8.

But according to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), the Seagulls' following four matches score only two.

The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts share their thoughts on what to do with Brighton players.

What the FPL experts say
Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)

From Gameweek 10, Brighton assets will be focal again for their fixture run. I would only advise selling them if you can easily get them back in just two weeks.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

Brighton have two tough fixtures, but after that they're great. Benching a defender is sensible. If I owned Mitoma I'd look at a short-term switch, especially if your team is quite settled elsewhere.

Pras (@Pras_FPL)

If you can see off the next two matches (or sell them, then buy back) then they are still good assets to own.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

I would urge caution and look ahead. Gamweek 10 kicks off a brilliant run of fixtures for the Seagulls in which I expect them to rediscover that sensational early-season form. Estupinan, in particular, is highly-owned in FPL and there's surely points at both ends of the pitch for him in that run from GW10.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

I'm very happy holding my Brighton pair knowing they have such a good fixture run on the horizon. Of course they will have off days, but even when they lose they tend to put up good Expected Goal (xG) numbers. They always threaten, which gives their players higher ceilings than most.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)

I have Wildcarded and sold all my Brighton players. I expect I'll be looking at them again though in Gameweek 10.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)

I own Estupinan and was planning to bench him in the next two Gameweeks, but Sven Botman's (£4.7m) injury has complicated that. Selling him for Pedro Porro (£5.0m) is a decent idea, or even an Aston Villa defender.

Pranil Sheth (@lateriser12)

I would currently sell if I could, or bench them for two weeks if you can afford to.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

My plan is to save the value I have in Estupinan by benching him in Gameweeks 8 and 9, and then have him back in my starting XI for Gameweek 10 and beyond.
