Pedro Porro (£5.0m) is among a trio of Tottenham Hotspur players picked in the Scout Selection for Gameweek 5 of Fantasy Premier League.

The Spaniard is yet to blank this season ahead of a home encounter with Sheffield United, combining an assist with two clean sheets in three appearances.

Furthermore, his total of seven shots ranks joint-second among defenders in 2023/24.

Porro is joined by his Spurs team-mates Son Heung-min (£9.1m) and James Maddison (£7.8m) in a team that line up in a 3-5-2 set-up, with Son named vice-captain and Erling Haaland (£14.1m) retaining the armband.

Gameweek 5 Scout Selection
Bernd Leno (Fulham) £4.6m

The Fulham No 1 offers multiple routes to returns at home to Luton Town. Although he has managed only one clean sheet, Leno has amassed league-high totals of six save points and five bonus points in his opening four matches.

Ben Chilwell (Chelsea) £5.8m

Chelsea’s left-back boasts a major attacking threat away to AFC Bournemouth. Chilwell’s six shots and nine key passes mean he is one of only two players, along with Pervis Estupinan (£5.3m), to rank among the top five defenders for both statistics.

Pedro Porro (Spurs) £5.0m

An ownership of only 5.4 per cent underlines his potential as a huge differential under Ange Postecoglou.

Serge Aurier (Nott'm Forest) £4.5m

Nottingham Forest’s wing-back can deliver a big haul against Burnley on Monday evening. Aurier earned 10 points in his last home meeting with a promoted side, supplying two assists against Sheff Utd in Gameweek 2.

Son Heung-min (Spurs) £9.1m

The South Korean’s move up front and hat-trick against Burnley last time out has made him the top target for Gameweek 5. Son has earned over half a million new owners ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 BST deadline.

Marcus Rashford (Man Utd) £8.9m

The Manchester United star hosts Brighton & Hove Albion on the back of a goal and two assists in his last two appearances since being moved back to the left flank. Rashford’s 12 shots in the box are more than any other midfielder in Fantasy this season.

Diogo Jota (Liverpool) £8.0m

Liverpool’s Portuguese could return to the starting line-up away to Wolverhampton Wanderers, with a number of the Reds' attackers arriving back late after the recent international matches. Jota delivered 12 points in his last start in Gameweek 2 thanks to a goal and an assist.

James Maddison (Spurs) £7.8m

The Spurs playmaker’s all-round influence can reward his growing ownership in Fantasy, which has moved past 27 per cent. Maddison’s 10 key passes, 13 shots and nine shots on target are all team-leading totals, with the latter statistic placing second only to the 10 of Haaland this season.

Raheem Sterling (Chelsea) £7.2m

A visit to Bournemouth gives the Chelsea star the chance to bounce back from his blank against Nott’m Forest last time out. The Cherries are yet to keep a clean sheet and have conceded an average of two goals per match.

Erling Haaland (Man City) £14.1m

Manchester City’s Norwegian visits West Ham United on the back of three goals, an assist and 20 points against Fulham. Haaland scored twice to collect 13 points in the corresponding fixture against West Ham in 2022/23.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £8.0m

Although he is yet to score this season, the Aston Villa forward has already supplied three assists. Watkins’ 10 shots, nine shots in the box and four big chances are all team-leading totals ahead of his home encounter with Crystal Palace.
