Here is what you need to know.

Where can I find a list of all the incomings and outgoings at Premier League so far?
Our Barclays Transfer Tracker has you covered.

When exactly does the window close?
The window shuts at 23:00 BST on Friday 1 September. However, clubs do have a two-hour window after this to complete a signing if they submit a deal sheet. For international transfers which make use of the FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS), these have a deadline of midnight.

Do other leagues’ windows close at the same time?
Many other European leagues close on 1 September, but at different times of the day. Germany’s shuts at 17:00 BST, while France is the same as England’s. Belgium’s window lasts until Wednesday 6 September.

For all European leagues’ windows, go to europeanleagues.com/transfer-windows/.

Outside of Europe, other leagues have different closing times, such as the Saudi Pro League, whose window shuts on Wednesday 20 September.

Do clubs have to submit a squad list?
After the transfer window has shut, clubs are required to submit to the Premier League an updated squad list. This will be published later in September.

Each squad should contain no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the "Home Grown Player" (HGP) criteria. The rest of the squad, up to a total of 25 players, must be "Home Grown".

A "Home-Grown Player" means a player who, irrespective of nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to The Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons, or 36 months, before his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

As well as the squad list, each club submit a list of their registered Under-21 players who are eligible over and above the squad limit of 25 players.

These under-21 players will have been born on or after 1 January 2002.
