The Premier League is returning to Hong Kong with the Asia Trophy taking place in July 2017.

The Premier League Asia Trophy is a biennial tournament, which was first held in Kuala Lumpur in 2003, and Hong Kong 2017 will be its eighth edition and the first with four Premier League teams: Liverpool, Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace.

Liverpool will be making their second appearance in the tournament, having competed in 2007, while Leicester, West Brom and Crystal Palace will be participating for the first time.

The four-team knockout competition will take place over two matchdays on Wednesday, 19 July and Saturday, 22 July 2017, both in the Hong Kong International Stadium.

Tickets for the 2017 Premier League Asia Trophy in Hong Kong will go on general sale via Cityline.com at 14:00 (local time) on Friday 2 June.

The Premier League Asia Trophy is part of the League’s ongoing commitment to fans in Asia as well as the development of the game. A full programme of coaching and community initiatives will run alongside the tournament.
