Swansea City have announced the permanent signing of midfielder Tom Carroll from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee, returning to the club with whom he spent the 2014/15 season on loan and helped to eighth place in the table - their highest position and points haul for a Premier League season.

Carroll has featured on only one occasion in the PL in 2016/17 but made 19 appearances last season, scoring one goal.
He could make his first appearance as a permanent Swansea player when Paul Clement’s side travel to Liverpool on Saturday.
Carroll's move follows the signing of left-back Martin Olsson on the same day.
