Swansea City have made defender Martin Olsson their second recruit of the January transfer window.

The Sweden international returns to the Premier League from Norwich City for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-and-a-half-year deal to follow Dutch winger Luciano Narsingh to the Liberty Stadium.

Olsson, 28, made 24 PL appearances for relegated Norwich last season and has played 146 matches in the top flight having also represented Blackburn Rovers.

He could make his Swansea debut this weekend as Paul Clement’s side travel to Liverpool for Saturday’s early kick-off.

Swansea have also announced that striker Marvin Emnes has returned from his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers, where he scored three goals in 20 appearances.
