As with Premier League 2, Manchester City are the national champions of the Under-18 Premier League for the second consecutive season.

Man City claimed the trophy after recording a 2-1 victory over Southampton as the winners of the North and South divisions met in the national final.

It is their third title at this level, having first won it in 2015/16.

Their success is part of a hat-trick of title triumphs for the club after the Under-23s won Premier League 2 Division 1 and the senior team retained the Premier League.

Chelsea won the Under-18 Premier League Cup, beating west London rivals Fulham 2-1 in the final at Craven Cottage.

Top scorers

Oakley Cannonier scored 28 goals as Liverpool finished second in the North division.

In the South, Victor Akinwale registered 24 goals for third-placed Crystal Palace.
