Thousands of primary school children across England and Wales have been expressing their support for those who face discrimination through the Premier League's Draw Together Challenge.

The challenge was set this year by CBeebies presenter Ben Cajee and he was overwhelmed by the quality of almost 2,000 drawings that have been submitted by the children.

'Amazing entries'

"We have had some amazing entries," Cajee says as he reviews some of the drawings submitted. "I love how bright and colourful they all are and the pledges are brilliant."

The children from across England and Wales were encouraged to draw or paint a picture on the theme of allyship, detailing the positive action they would take to help challenge discriminatory behaviour, wherever they see it.

"I am really proud to be an ally to others and I am so glad that so many of you are too," Cajee says in a message to the children.

"It's so important that we all challenge discrimination wherever we see and we continue to be inclusive in everything we do."

In the coming days, some of our favourite entries will be showcased in a gallery on the Premier League website.

How to take the challenge

Children can still take on the challenge by visiting Premier League Primary Stars, the League's curriculum-linked education programme.

The Draw Together Challenge is just one of the ways in which the Premier League is tackling discrimination as part of its No Room For Racism Action Plan.
